Wavebox speaks your language in more ways than one. You can run the whole interface in your own language, translate any web page as you browse, get grammar suggestions as you type, and dictate instead of typing — with all your language preferences managed in one place. 🖥️ Use Wavebox in your Language

The Wavebox interface — menus, settings, buttons and dialogs — is available in 19 languages alongside English: English (UK), Spanish, Spanish (Latin America), German, Italian, French, Danish, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Polish, Swedish, Norwegian Bokmål, Finnish, Czech and Welsh — with more on the way.

Windows: pick your display language directly in wavebox://settings/languages.
macOS: set a per-app language in System Settings → General → Language & Region.
Linux: Wavebox follows your system locale (or a LANGUAGE launch flag).

📄 Translate Pages as you Browse

Wavebox Translate gives you instant on-page translation for 100+ languages — no extensions needed. Translate entire pages or selected paragraphs, powered by Wavebox's built-in Brainbox translation engine.

The translate pop-up appears automatically when a page in another language is detected — one click to translate, one click to switch back.
Choose your engine in Settings > General > Language: Local (on-device), Hybrid (recommended), or Cloud.
👍 Tip: page translation doesn't use any of your free Brainbox tokens.

⚙️ Manage your Preferred Languages

Open wavebox://settings/languages for one panel that controls it all:

Add, remove and reorder your preferred languages — drag them to set your order of preference.
Choose per-language translate offers — decide which languages Wavebox should (or shouldn't) offer to translate.
Windows: set which language the Wavebox interface displays in.
Spell-check options live in the same panel, with the familiar Chromium controls.

Wavebox can suggest grammar improvements while you write — processed on your device, so your text never leaves your computer.
