🍎 Tutorial: 3 Easy Ways to Share a Group of Web Apps with Your Team.
Collaboration is at the heart of Wavebox for Teams, and sharing your favorite app groups with colleagues is a great way to boost productivity and keep everyone on the same page. Whether you want to quickly distribute a set of apps, keep a group in sync, or create a shared dashboard, Wavebox offers several ways to share groups with your team. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Share a Group Using a Template Share Code
This is the quickest way to share a group with your team—perfect for one-off setups.
How to do it:
- Right-click on the group you want to share.
- Select Create Template (or similar option).
- Create a Master Password if you're including passwords.
- Copy the share code that’s generated.
- Send this code to your team members.
- Team members can paste the code into their Wavebox address bar to import the group.
Note: This method creates a one-off copy of the group. Any changes you make to your group later will not sync to your teammates.

2. Live Sync a Group Using Wavebox Live
If you want to keep a group (or an entire profile) in sync across your team, Wavebox Live is the way to go.
How it works:
- Wavebox Live lets you create a locked-down profile that can be updated remotely by an admin.
- Any changes made to the profile are automatically pushed out to all users assigned to that profile.
Important:
Currently, you can only share an entire profile (not just a single group) using Wavebox Live.
How to get started:
- Go to My Wavebox → Organization → Live Profiles.
- Create or select a Live profile.
- Add users to the profile.
- Users will receive an invite to install Wavebox with the synced profile.

3. Share a Group via a Shared Dashboard
Dashboards are a powerful way to create shared workspaces for your team.
How to do it:
- Create a dashboard and share it with your team.
- Add a Collection Widget to the dashboard and include the apps from your group.
- Right-click on the group icon in the webdock
- Click on 'Add to Dashboard'
- Team members can add the collection as a group to their own Wavebox.
- Click on the Collection's settings cog top-right
- Click 'Add all collection items as a new webdock group'
Note: Like the template method, this is a one-off import. Changes to your original group won’t sync automatically.
