Troubleshooting Widevine
If you are having issues playing media in Wavebox, it could be that the Widevine plugin hasn't downloaded in the background. Widevine is Google’s digital rights management (DRM) system that lets streaming services protect and play encrypted audio/video content in browsers and apps.
This is an easy issue to fix, and here's what to do:
- Open wavebox://components in a new tab
- Look for "Widevine Content Decryption Module",
- Press the check for update
- Wait for it to update
- Completely restart Wavebox
