Minimize & Quit Wavebox

This article will help you customize how you can quit the app.

macOS

• Wavebox Menu Bar (top left) - click on Wavebox in the top left hand corner of the Menu Bar and select Quit Wavebox
• Tray Icon (top right) - click on the tray icon in the top-right hand corner of the Menu Bar and select Quit Wavebox
• Keyboard Shortcut - create your own in Settings - see below.

Windows

• ☰ Wavebox Menu (top right) - click on the main Wavebox Menu icon and select Quit Wavebox
• Tray Icon (bottom right) - click on the tray icon in the bottom-right hand corner and select Quit Wavebox
• Keyboard Shortcut - create your own in Settings - see below.

Edit Quit Behavior

• Go to Settings > General > Appearance > Main Window Quit Behaviour
• Make a selection from the dropdown menu
  • Hide to Menu Bar
  • Minimize to Dock

Enable Warn before Quitting

• Go to Settings > General > Appearance > Main Window Quit Behaviour
• Make a selection from the dropdown menu

Set a Keyboard Shortcut

• Go to Settings > General > Keyboard Shortcuts
• Click on Application
• Look for 'Quit Wavebox' and enter your shortcut
• Also look for 'Minimize Wavebox to the Tray'.
